Home educating isn’t about creating a "mini school" at home. ​​
When done well it gives learners a very different and unique way of finding out about the world.
Students can learn at their own pace in the safest and most familiar of environments.
Home learning sessions must be collaborative – more like a conversation than a lesson.

Students neeed to be able to learn effectively on their own.
To use the old proverb, it's my job to teach them to fish instead of just giving them a fish!​​
​​​​I previously ran a tutoring business between 2014 and 2017. During this time nearly all of my tutoring was face-to-face.
The world has changed and moved on since then, and most tutees prefer working online to get help with what they have covered in school.​

For home learners, these sessions are school.​​​​
